I really just want to bash my hand on the keyboard right now. I'm spending days....DAYS redoing the whole site. This is day two. Hopefully the archive will work this way. I'm utalizing a new script and I have no doubt SOMEthing will fuck up. if it does, please comment in the shoutbox below or Email us. Thank you.
FINALLY we introduce Issues! Speaking of Issues, the Cast page got a major overhaul. The dark elf from the start of the comic is in it, ShadowWolf, Issues, the Wolf and the Orc guy all have entries. Hopefully this will make the comic more coherent.

Attack of the whitespace!
So look, page 6 is up! I bet you weren't expecting that! When Alex sent me the page, I told her I really liked the break in ShadowWolf's stoic, hard-ass bitch facade and it showed that she was able to weaken. Then I added text and I get such a sense of "YOU'RE A FUCKING MORON AND I AM TIRED SO SHUT THE BLOODY FUCK UP YOU STUPID CHATTERING HEN!!" from ShadowWolf.
In other news, I will be at Emerald City Comicon on Mar 31-st to April 1st. Come stop by and get some arts. ARTS!

No, we're not quite back yet.
I'm slowly working on a new layout for the site, something clean and CSS and PHP friendly. Also, we added Project wonderful banners to the site. Feel free to bid on inexpensive (or if you're lucky- FREE!) advertising! Finally, Q and Jer of Elves of Iax will be at the Vancouver Comicon this Sunday. Stop by and pick up some art and comics!

Let's take a moment to reflect: after one year, three server moves,sixty pages and over 30,000 unique visitors, the first issue of Elven Lacryment is complete. Praise us! And look at all the pretty colour!
Alex is going to visit Q this weekend. Oh the hijinks likely to ensue! Beware, Vancouver, beware! We're going to take that chance to discuss how to persue with EL, issue 2, and publishing. There might be a slight hiatus, but we'll keep you all posted.
But enough about us. Right now I'd love to direct your attention to the
"Preorder EoI now" button on the right. The Elves of Iax is a beautiful comic which I highly suggest you all read. Posters and comics are available and all pre-orders go to the cost of publishing. Please at least take a peek at the comic and maybe order a copy.

Well fuck a duck! It's been a month since our last update. Terribly sorry for that. I just got my PC, Crapweasle back on Friday, and had no software on it. Also, I had to go to my mother's house for her birthday.
Anyway- I know I've said it a lot, but I swear this time it's true: We've one more page to go, then Issue 1 is complete!
Also, this weekend, Alex is actually going to be in Q's neck of the woods. Yes. the two are actually going to meet face to face! World will explode.

Sorry we were late, it was my birthday on the 19th and I had
to get my blood taken, because I'm still sick and we're trying
to figure out just what's wrong with me. Don't worry though,
I'm old hat at medical shit, so s'all good. Added EL to some

dead, and I need to fix him, but I don't think this will affect EL at all.

I realize as of late that updates have been just about as frequent
as a total eclipse of the sun. I can only offer my deepest appologies but I
have a HELL of a lot of stuff on at the moment, what with college and what not
(I got a job doing story bords for some film two weeks ago which is so.
fricking. cool). Until we get into summer, things are probably going to
carry on like this... which blows (trust me, I'd much rather be drawing long
eared elves and oversized wolves than write esseys on the deveopment of
democracy in England over the last 100 years, but that's the way the cookie
crumbles... to coin a very annoying phrase).
Wow... there are so may incidents of wonky anatomy on this page that it's not funny.

It only took just over a year, but I guess that this is it for
issue one... that is at least until I go back and redo certain pannels (i'e
those featuring that damn skirt/dress) but until then, I'll just feel all
smug and satisfied.

Well, only one more page to go untill this issue is over. expect updates to
be a little more on schedual since my teachers can't be bothered to issue
homework any more and summer break's just around the corner. You may have
noticed a lack of inking here... well, I've come to the conclusion that it
kills off my pencil work and will save me a bag load of time. If you hate
the pencil dominate approche, just give me a shout and I'll revert back to
my old ways. Oh, and I am never, ever going to be able to draw a dress.

Sorry for being late but I've got my As's now
and I'm
pretty much revising, revising, revising so this may be slow
for the next
three weeks (however, I'm on study leave so there are more oppertunities
to
work on this comic). Fun fact: Wolf's pose in the last panee
is lifted from
an issue of Uncanny X-Men since Joe Mad's far better at drawing
people
jumping from on high brandishing weapons.

aloha all. For the next few weeks, i'm going to be keeping up
this trend of being utterly inactive since i've got a fist fll
of mocks, lectures and my art final coming at me left right and
center and i am swamped. right now its five to six inth morning
and i am making revision notes... which is just five flavours
of lame. once the art thing's over, i'll be able to have some
more time to myself and get back on track. t t f n

Well, seeing as Q's been good enough to grant me my own little space
to rant and rave on this page, i'll have to take advantage of it,
though i'll probably do no more than bash the artwork.
Is it me, or do orcs and cainine creatures seem to be utterly unable
to get on?
